New Tab

Plus new tab

You can pin Snapshots to your new tab view to effortlessly keep an eye on the latest data.
This is an optional feature of the Plus Chrome Extension. You must have the extension installed to take Snapshots, but you can disable the new tab experience at any time.

Set up

The first time you open a new tab after installing the extension, you'll see a prompt asking you whether you want to allow Plus to change your new tab experience.
Click "Keep it" to continue using Plus, even if you don't want to use our new tab. You can turn it off after this step.
Select "Keep it" to continue using Plus, even if you want to disable the new tab experience (you can do so later.)
Do not click "Change it back." This disables the Plus extension completely and you will not be able to take Snapshots. If you accidentally disabled the Plus extension, you can re-enable it from your browser.

Disable Plus new tab

You can opt out of the new tab experience right away or at any time after set up.
To disable it, go to the settings menu and click "Disable this screen."
Click "Use default New Tab page" to turn off the Plus new tab immediately.
You can disable the new tab experience at any time from the settings menu.

Enable Plus new tab

Open the Plus extension and click "Enable New Tab"
Open the extension and click "Enable New Tab."

Pinning a Snapshot

You can pin a Snapshot to your new tab experience immediately after capturing the Snapshot or at any time from the Snapshot viewer.

Top visited sites

Plus can also show you your top visited sites — just like the default Chrome new tab experience.
Click "Show top visited sites," and then "Allow" to turn it on. You can turn this off at any time from the settings menu.
